Educational Psychologists work in a variety of creative ways to support the development, learning, and wellbeing of children and young people. Steve’s input during the current academic year will include input at the whole-school level, such as delivering training to school staff. Steve will observe classes and consult with staff to explore positive ways forward for students at Fusion Academy. Steve will also work collaboratively with the Specialist Teaching Assistants, to support staff with developing and delivering interventions. There may be occasions when Steve works directly with individual students to explore their views and develop a greater understanding of their strengths and needs.
