At KS3 our students will study a broad and balanced curriculum.
We would like as much of this as possible to take place in the mainstream part of the school but we understand this may have to be built up over time. We support our students when they are in mainstream classes.
In all Key Stages
As part of KS3, KS4 and KS5 you will also study life and communication skills work which will be planned and delivered based on your individual needs.
Key Stage 4
The curriculum is made up of Maths, English and Science GCSEs on top of this your child can pick from a range of other BTEC and GCSE options. We expect all students at Cleveland House to study between six and eight GCSE/BTEC subjects.
Key Stage 5
There are various pathways to follow. If you have studied with us at KS3 and KS4 you may be ready to access an A Level/BTEC Level 3 curriculum. If you join us at KS5 you may wish to follow a GCSE curriculum. We also offer bespoke programmes of support to access a college course or to focus on life skills in order to prepare for college, university or the world of work.
